Reflection

Using my new gained knowledge about racial and ethical issues in the portrayal of minorities in Film. I take a more credible and critical approach. In order to increase my credibility I present my arguments, back them with evidence and also present counter arguments to distinct positions. Such as in my annotated bibliography of the CNA interview. Where I criticize CNA for being biased and calling them out for a lack of evidence. I use vocabulary that is understandable to teenagers however my main audience is to filmmakers and political activists which care about the portrayal of minorities in film. This is sustained as I call for action in my annotated bibliography for the Ted Talk, cinema for a medium of change. Where i try to encourage filmmakers to think about the morals and messages that they are representing in their films. I place myself as a researcher and a critic of film. I express my knowledge of film when I state historic references to films that have affected society. Thus increasing my credibility and using ethos to persuade my audience. I don’t use as many images, or videos because I want my web design to look more professional and don't want audiences to get distracted or believe that aesthetics are my goal with my blog. The design of my blog is very important, as all the information is easy to gain. Sand even though the posts are relatively long I try to keep them as concise as possible too maintain my audiences attention. All they have to do is scroll down to find my sources and thus I believe that this is the best way to deliver my opinions in the most professional and efficient manner.
